We take care of every seed that passes through our factory door. We’re committed to zero waste, and utilise every component of each seed.  Our factory processes are designed to be gentle on the seed, with no hard machinery.

Our dehulling process uses air to move the seed, while our optical sorters and gravity tables ensure only the premium seeds are used in our products.

Our certified-organic factory operates 22 hours a day to ensure you’ll always have the freshest hemp products on the market.

Kind on the planet

We’re focused on using ethical and sustainable practices with no harm to people, planet or animals.  Our hemp is NZ grown - we avoid unnecessary additives, fillers, heat treatments, chemicals and sprays. Mother Nature has completed the hard work – our work is the icing on the cake.

New Zealand grown and made

Our hemp is grown in Hawke’s Bay and processed in Horowhenua, in the first purpose-built hemp food factory in New Zealand. We’re continuing to increase our capacity each year as we share our products with New Zealand and the world.

The Hemp Connect team is invested across all parts of the value chain, from farming to process engineering, food safety, customer service and innovation.

Natural and spray-free

Hemp Connect works with a collective of Kiwi farmers to cultivate spray-free New Zealand grown hemp. We are meticulous and dedicated throughout every step of our process, from sourcing the freshest seeds to producing the most optimum hemp. This allows us to stand behind our promise to produce the highest quality and best value hemp foods in New Zealand.
