Fitgenes empowers individuals to maximise their potential for healthy living and healthy ageing. The Fitgenes approach also helps eliminate the guesswork of the one–size–fits–all model for healthcare by applying the scientific disciplines of Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics. Fitgenes Accredited Practitioners are trained in the implementation of our programs to improve the health and well-being of their patients through the clinical application of our personalised, genome- based healthcare programs.

Day One | Scientific Foundations of Nutrigenomics and Nutrigenetics
Placing genome-based healthcare in perspective, practitioners learn the power of Nutrigenomics and Nutrigenetics and how it can be applied in-clinic to offer patients everyday personalised health and wellbeing programs.
Working with your own Health and Wellbeing Genetic Profile, learn how to interpret the results and how to translate this for your patients, who will benefit from a personalised health and wellbeing program that focuses on their individual needs and goals.

Day Two | Practical Application and Software Training
Having learnt the foundations, it's time to discover the clinical application of the Fitgenes programs using our software application - PracwarePRO.
PracwarePRO combines the patients personalised genetic profile with their pathology data, anthropometric details, health goals and your clinical notes to create a holistic approach with measureable health outcomes.
Taught in the context of refining your genetic profile interpretation skills, learn how to communicate the results to your patients.
The Fitgenes Advantage
Fitgenes incorporates published scientific literature that has identified different nutrigenomic outcomes based on genetics, into concise reports. These reports support practitioners in their practice to develop personalised programs to improve a patient’s health.
Latest Information:
Fitgenes allows practitioners to focus on their patients while keeping up to date with the nutrigenomic discoveries that can support patients achieving their desired health goals.
Prevention:
We use genetics to help you understand your body’s responses and identify the best pathways to maintain and improve your health – prevention is better than cure.
Targeted Genetics:
We analyse genetic markers that may be modified by the changes you make. While science can map a person’s entire genome this does not currently provide useful information as the genetic science has not identified how every SNP impacts on your response. We focus on the SNPs that can make a difference to supporting a healthy lifestyle.
Privacy:
We understand the importance of privacy and data protection and we manage your data to ensure security.
Best technical support:
Nutrisearch technical manager Joeanna Magill, Adri Ferreira & Robert Oscroft - our regional technical sale managers are available for practitioners to obtain guidance, in addition to Nutrisearch's technical support team Clare Tyler of Fitgenes (based here in NZ) is available for ongoing support of accredited Fitgenes practitioners.
Pracware: (advanced online practitioner only portal - exclusive to Fitgenes)
Fitgenes provides an advanced online portal to support accredited practitioners with scientific support materials, client managment areas, and advanced executive reports on each individual patient. These executive summary reports released recently cut the average time of initial clinically effective interpretation down to between 30-45 minutes.
Comprehensive Education:
Fitgenes offers the most comprehensive two day training workshops throughout the year for degree qualified practitioners. These training courses are required to become a Fitgenes Practitioner and ensure your patients receive a high quality service and that all Fitgenes-accredited practitioners have a strong base knowledge around Genetics and the Fitgenes approach to health and wellness
